Homeplace at Burlington Burlington WA
The Homeplace at Burlington assisted living and memory care facility offers exceptional senior living in beautiful Burlington, Washington. Older adults come from throughout the state for the community's beautiful facilities, spacious senior apartments, and top-quality long-term care programs. The facility offers assisted living, independent living, and memory care programs for residents, with additional services available by request.
Like other Frontier Management assisted living communities, the Homeplace at Burlington requires all incoming residents to speak with a care advisor before admission. The care advisor uses a pre-admission assessment to determine which long-term care program suits each resident. Each long-term care program offers its own set of services, depending on the needs of its residents. The assisted living long-term care facility is ideal for seniors who need regular assistance with their activities of daily living, but who do not need advanced health care or dementia care. Independent living is similar to assisted living, but residents request assistance as-needed instead of having a daily care routine. The memory care community offers the most advanced level of care, specializing in dementia care for residents with memory loss and Alzheimer's disease. Typically, assisted living services are not sufficient for people living with dementia and Alzheimer's. The memory care community serves to fill that gap, providing specialized Alzheimer's and dementia care for older adults with Alzheimer's disease. Each residential care unit in the Homeplace at Burlington living facility is staffed with highly-trained professional nurses who offer compassionate care to all residents.
Although the Homeplace at Burlington offers a wide variety of long-term care services like assistance with activities of daily living and treatment for memory loss, they are not a skilled nursing facility. The Homeplace at Burlington does not offer skilled nursing care, and is not equipped for residents who need daily medical treatment. However, the facility is located near several hospitals where residents can receive medical treatment as-needed.
Most families know the Homeplace at Burlington for their long-term residential care programs, but the facility also offers short-term care. Seniors who typically receive home-based personal care or Alzheimer's and dementia care can stay at the senior living community for assistance while their primary caregiver is away (known as respite care).
In addition to their exception independent and assisted living services, the Homeplace at Burlington prides themselves for their exceptional on-site amenities. The facility sponsors social activities for residents in the community rooms, and family members are welcome to enjoy a nutritious meal with their resident in the dining room. The facility offers a one and two-bedroom apartment floor plan, giving residents multiple assisted living options to choose from.
